Race Information:

The Run, Walk & Roll is a 5K/10K walk/run that begins at the Tempe Town Lake Beach Park and winds around the banks of the lake. This is a fun event for all ages and ability levels. "Accessible Parking" will be available at the Beach Park main parking lot, everyone else will need to find parking else where. Recommended parking is US Airway Parking garage.

All entrants will receive goody bags, pre- and post-event refreshments, access to numerous vendors and ideal temperatures for a race. Entrants in the 5k and 10k events and the 1 mile fitness walk will receive a commemorative technical shirt. Youth participants will receive a bright, fun t-shirt.

Packet Pick-Up:

Packet pick-up and registration will be available the day prior to the race at the Road Runner Sports store located in the Tempe Marketplace from 3:00pm-7:00pm on Friday, January 6th, 2012. The registration fee will be $30 the day prior to race and will increase to $35 the day of the race.

Fees:

$25 for 5K/10K events and 1 mile fitness walk through January 1st, $30 from January 2nd-6th and $35 day of event
$10 for .5 mile event through January 6th, $15 day of event
Race as a team and receive a discount - Register 10 and receive 2 FREE, Register 20 and receive 5 FREE!


Awards:

The top three 5K and 10K finishers in each of the following categories will receive awards:

19 & under
20-29
30-39
40-49
50-59
60+

The top three competitive Roll finishers will receive awards. Awards will be presented as soon as possible at the conclusion of each event.

To participate in this program you must collect $35.00 in pledges, this is your race fee, from friends, family, neighbors, co-workers or who ever might want to donate. You will turn in your pledge form with your pledges at the packet pick up the day before the race. To register for the race using this program please contact us at info@mesadisabledsports.com with your name,address, phone number, t-shirt size (Adult sizes: small, medium, large or extra large) and a statement that you will be participating in the pledge program. Please remember there will be a prize for the top 3 people with the most pledges. So get out there and raise some money!!!

The host organization recommends the Best Western Inn of Tempe for lodging during the event which is approximately 2 miles from the Tempe Beach Park. The hotel offers a 24 hour shuttle, free high speed internet and continental breakfast.
